Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?

November 15, 2018 to October 31, 2021

The exhibition is named after a major work by Jean McEwen, whose experience offers a powerful inspiration that expresses timeless questioning on identity, which invites us to examine our collective history differently. The exhibition assembles more than 40 works, including drawings, prints, graphic design, installations, paintings, photographs and sculptures from different periods.

In addition to McEwen’s work the exhibition features works by Nicolas Baier, Dominique Blain, Anthony Burnham, Cooke-Sasseville, Andrew Dutkewych, Vittorio Fiorucci, Eddy Firmin dit Ano, Betty Goodwin, Nicolas Grenier, Milutin Gubash, Massimo Guerrera, Jacques Hurtubise, Denis Juneau, Jean Paul LemieuxCaroline Monnet, Nadia MyreMarc Séguin and Richard-Max Tremblay.

The assembled works enable us to broach our stratified identity, which raises a persistent question: Where are we going? What do we want as a society?
