Accessibility

The MNBAQ is an establishment adapted to the needs of persons with a disability and wishes to offer an accessibile and inclusive museum experience. Several measures have been taken through the Musée’s action plan.

SNACKS AND DINING

Let yourself be surprised by chef Laurent Godbout's revisited classics at the Café Québecor or stop by the Vitalité take-out counter. Dining areas are provided on levels 0 and 2 in the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion, in the main lobby and in the courtyard.

PARKING

Paid parking is available behind the Charles Baillairgé Pavilion (the former prison). Two charging stations for electric vehicles are available in the parking lot. Four parking spaces are reserved for families in front of the Charles Baillairgé Pavilion, accessible via Avenue Wolfe-Montcalm. Parking spaces are available for persons holding a disabled parking sticker issued by the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec, at the back of the Charles-Baillargé Pavillon parking lot, and in the parking lot of Saint-Dominique Church, accessible from Grande Allée.

CLOAKROOM

A free cloakroom, located at the entrance to the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion, is available to visitors. You can check coats, umbrellas, backpacks, small pieces of luggage, etc.

BOUTIQUE

In the heart of the Quartier des arts, the MNBAQ Librairie-Boutique seeks to showcase Québec art with a vast selection of products and is also a bookstore that specializes in art books.

SPACE RENTALS

For a private party or special event, dazzle your guests by reserving our facilities. Elegant reception rooms can host from 10 to 1,500 people.

DRAWING IN GALLERIES

Would you like to draw in the Museum? It is possible to do so in our collections' galleries, using lead or colored pencil only. We ask that you avoid bulky equipment and that you do not set up in a passageway or in front of an emergency exit.

If you are part of a group of 15 people or more, you must notify the Museum in advance at 418 641-6460 ext. 5540. Despite the above and for safety reasons, the Museum reserves the right to prohibit drawing at any time without notice.

BABY STROLLERS

Courtesy baby strollers are available at the information counter. In addition, several washrooms are equipped with changing tables.

LOST AND FOUND

Speak to a cloakroom attendant if you have lost an object. Outside opening hours, you can contact a Security guard: 418 643-8119.

LOAN OF EQUIPMENT

Strollers and wheelchairs are available free of charge to visitors, at the cloakroom. magnifying glasses are also avaliable in the lobby. Equipment is generally loaned in exchange for a piece of ID.
