Our exhibition, Decorative Arts and Design in Québec, showcases objects that have made an impact on the history of Québec design. Among them, is the iconic solar chair, a flagship piece of local design. It is a wonderful opportunity to rediscover the talent, ingenuity, and craftsmanship that have shaped our cultural heritage.

After leaving the exhibition, why not take a break on our green terrace, which is located on level 3 of the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion? From there, you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the museum complex and the Espace Riopelle – Pavillon Michael Audain, due to open on October 22.

While exploring the pavilion, be sure to visit the Inuit and contemporary art galleries, as well as the Us exhibition.

3. To take a creative break with the decorative fan craft workshop

Let your inner artist shine! Our decorative fan craft workshop, which is offered daily on a drop-in basis, invites people of all ages to create a piece of art inspired by their visit.

A few tips before you visit

• With events and roadwork making traffic in the city centre difficult, why not come visit us by bike? In summer, there is an àVélo bike-sharing station on De Bourlamaque Avenue, just a few metres from the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion. There are also bike racks for personal bicycles to the left of the Musée’s main entrance. Plan your trips!
• Rainy day? Please use our free cloakroom to leave your coat, bag, and umbrella.
