Yes. You will save up to $3 per ticket and you will be able to access the galleries directly as soon as you arrive. What’s more, by creating an account on our website, you can easily view your tickets and make future transactions online.
No. You’ll have direct access to galleries as soon as you arrive.
Yes. Two options are available on site: a ticket purchase terminal for greater flexibility, and the ticket counter. However, we recommend buying your ticket online to gain direct access to galleries as soon as you arrive and save up to $3.
Yes, as your ticket or card (if you are a Musée Member) may be requested at any time during your visit.
Tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets may be changed in exceptional situations, subject to availability. However, the type of activity cannot be changed. Tickets may be changed by contacting our team on site or by phone at 418 643-2150 (toll-free in Canada: 1 866-220-2150).

No. If you have preferential access, you can get your ticket on site at the ticket counter.
Gift certificates can only be purchased at the MNBAQ ticket counter.
Museum services
Yes. There is a paid parking lot near the Charles-Baillairgé Pavilion. Anticipate a few minutes of outdoor walking along Wolfe-Montcalm Avenue to reach the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion on Grande Allée.
The museum parking lot has a limited number of spaces. Please check for alternatives in case it is full when you arrive.
Yes, wheelchairs are available at the MNBAQ. They are free of charge and do not require a reservation.

Yes, the MNBAQ Librairie-Boutique is free to access without a ticket during opening hours.
Yes, there are two places to eat at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec: Café Québecor or the to-go counter. We’d be happy to serve you even if you’re not visiting the Musée!
Generally, the MNBAQ is less busy at lunchtime and at the end of the day.
It depends. It generally takes about an hour to visit a single exhibition, but it can take an entire day to visit the museum campus and its pavilions.
Some tours are included with an admission ticket, and spaces are limited. Other tours, such as the Stroller museum tour our or group tours, require a reservation.
The MNBAQ only authenticates and appraises works as part of its acquisition process, when works are being prepared to join the national collection.
