The Art of the Wedding

Nestled on the Plains of Abraham, the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec offers a fascinating chance to soak in 400 years of art history in a space where nature, architecture, and culture are celebrated.  

The Pierre Lassonde Pavilion, opened in 2016, features a truly striking design. Its exceptional spaces make our Musée the perfect place to celebrate the unforgettable wedding of your dreams in a unique and timeless setting.  

We offer two incomparable packages and uniquely beautiful locations.

Intimate and elegant  

Three spaces for every stage of your special day. The West Space, bathed in light, will be there for the big “I do.”  

You will also get to enjoy the North Space, with its breathtaking view over the Laurentians and the city and access to the incredible Inuit art exhibition.  

Finally, the South Space and its terrace will delight with their unique view over the Plains of Abraham, the St. Lawrence River, and the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion’s green roofs. Here, art and nature come together in perfect harmony.

Access to spaces

Spaces are only accessible after the MNBAQ closes at 5 p.m.  

Guests cannot arrive before 5 p.m. The event can start around 5:30 p.m.  

The room will be set up in the afternoon, on the day of the event.  

Clients will have access to the room from 3 p.m. on the day of the event to decorate, etc.  

Services and partners  

We can provide you with a list of suppliers (officiant, decoration, entertainment, audiovisual equipment, photographer, etc.), but you are responsible for organizing everything. You may work with the suppliers of your choice for everything except catering.
