The Paris Opera trained them from childhood and offered them an extraordinary life, shaped by rigor and passion. At 42, it is time to leave this prestigious institution. As new talents take the stage, Alice Renavand, Stéphane Bullion, and Aurélia Bellet prepare their farewell performance. Yonathan Kellerman’s camera gently captures this transition to a new life.

Two bodies in motion, observed from a distance, allow themselves to be permeated by the world. Aperçu is an experimental and sensory contemporary dance film that explores the transformation of the body in relation to its environment. The dancers become ultrasensitive beings, seeking to fully experience the vastness of the world around them. Initially immersed in nature, their movements gradually metamorphose as reality becomes distorted, as if the camera were entering their inner perception.
Set to experimental music with a steadily rising tension, the film oscillates between contemplation and immersion, giving rise to a physical and poetic experience of movement. More than a narrative, Aperçu invites the viewer to feel — to draw close to that fragile moment where body, space, and sensation become one.
