When they met in 1956, Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely could not have imagined that they would spend the next twenty years of their lives together.

Everything set them apart: their origins, their childhoods, their ideologies, their visions of art and life. Yet they created their first major work, entitled Hon/Elle, a monumental sculpture that visitors could enter and discover Tinguely's many creations. This documentary paints a portrait of two unique creators united in art and the exploration of space.
