This summer, we are drawing inspiration from the vibrant Niki de Saint Phalle exhibition to celebrate art unleashed. Come enjoy lively, inspiring evenings full of art, music, and sunshine in the inner courtyard of the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion!

Schedule

Spend a happy, relaxed summer evening with us between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

  • From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., take workshops to get in touch with your inner artist, go on mini-tours to dive deeper into Niki de Saint Phalle’s colourful world, or head to the bar for drinks and nibbles.
  • At 6 p.m., discover a new favourite artist or fall in love all over again during a concert by Héron and Mia Kelly.

The event is free and open to everyone. What better way to relax and soak up that wonderful summer feeling, surrounded by art?

  • Héron

Henri Kinkead’s neo-folk project, Héron, reinterprets traditional Québécois music through a queer, modern lens. His poetic, enchanting songs are influenced by everything from Joni Mitchell’s folk music to Louis Boudreault’s reels. He was a finalist in the 2023 Francouvertes and is preparing his Bras solaires EP for release in the fall of 2025.

  • Mia Kelly

Gatineau native Mia Kelly’s music is a powerful, poetic blend of folk, rock, and blues. Named Young Performer of the Year and New/Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2024 Canadian Folk Music Awards, she has gained recognition as an imaginative lyricist with a knack for translating human stories into deeply moving songs.
