Creation residency before the public
Osez! is a unique artistic encounter between a choreographer and a group of dancers coming together to create an ephemeral, spontaneous, vibrant work before the public. For five days, spectators are invited behind the scenes of the creative process to watch the development of a short choreographic piece. This artistic exuberance will culminate in an exclusive performance.
In 2025, Osez! will take on a new dimension that reflects the colourful, free-spirited, and feminist world of Niki de Saint Phalle, the artist behind the Musée’s current exhibition. Inspired by her bold, dedicated work, the artists will explore themes she held dear: transformation, the power of the collective, and the freedom of the body.
For the very first time, three choreographers from three different countries—Canada, France, and Belgium—will lend their vision to a joint creation in collaboration with 12 Québec performers and a live musician. It will truly be a celebration of movement, interaction, and cultural exchange.
