Call for Proposals: International Symposium – Audain Museum Chair for the Automatistes

Following the numerous initiatives marking the Jean Paul Riopelle centennial celebrations, a new phase of reflection is beginning. The Audain Museum Chair for the Automatistes at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec is launching a call for proposals for an international symposium to be held in January 2027, dedicated to contemporary issues of memory and heritage-building. Artist Brigitte Dahan to create a fresco in the Espace Riopelle café

As part of the major Espace Riopelle – Pavillon Michael Audain project, a call for proposals was issued last fall to artisans who are members of the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec. The aim was to find an artist to create a ceramic fresco that would enrich the café’s décor.
