At the age of 8, Ennio Morricone dreamed of becoming a doctor. But his father decided that he would be a trumpet player, like him. From music conservatory to Oscar for Best Composer, discover the journey of one of the greatest musicians of the 20th century.

During the five years of filming ENNIO, director Giuseppe Tornatore traveled around the world to interview more than seventy filmmakers and musicians about the life and work of Ennio Morricone, including Wong Kar Wai, Bernardo Bertolucci, Quentin Tarantino, Clint Eastwood, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Bruce Springsteen. These interviews are interspersed with fragments of Morricone's private life, recordings of his tours, film clips, interviews with friends and collaborators, and previously unseen archive footage spanning a career that spanned more than 70 years.

We present an art film every month in collaboration with the International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA), an eclectic event that’s always appreciated.
